MK3 Head light conversions

I want to do something new with the healights on my Mk3. Does anyone know what is available?

You could always custom fabricate some kind of flush headlights using some HID lights, but it's just going to be a down-grade from the stock pop-ups in terms of light output. Our hood is so sharply sloped where the headlights are you only have a few inches height to fit lights in, and that doesn't project well to the road. Lots of people do it, but for "show" only.
