Re: Glovebox Problem!

I'm not sure about the 90 accords, but i have a 96, and I had a problem with my glovebox not shutting all the way and I could see the light. Bit if you look where the latch is on it there are some screws, and after I tightened them it was fixed. Hope this helps, let me know if it does

Re: Glovebox Problem!

hmmm. I tried the screwing thing, but it didn't work. It does shut all the way though, I mean, it latches, but there is still a gap between the door and the dash. what do you think?

I have a 90 Accord and tried several things to eliminate the glovebox light problem. Finally, I took a valve cap and forced it onto the button that turns off the light and is supposed to be depressed when the door is closed. That filled enough of the gap to cause the light to turn off, as well as adding a little pressure to the door when it is latched to minimize rattling. My door is still crooked but it doesn't rattle and the light operates normally. Give it a try.

Hi I have a 95 Accord and I rigged mine to where the light won't show by taking that radio security card-the thing made like a credit card-and putting it against the button I close it and then after the glove box is closed I just push it in there where its not visible. It works great! Its pretty simple too..
