Smile IN RESPONSE TO "IN NEED OF GOOD ADVICE"

I would like to THANK everyone for the feedback.... It is nice hear from people who have experience..Now some of the questions that were asked, I will answer......I doubt that my charging system on the truck is shot..I have a stock battery, and have not done anything with the alt.I have fog lamps that i use once in awhile. I am running a Sony cdx-c780 Head Unit. (45x4 and a 4 volt pre out) I am running a kicker ix402 amp. It is bridged and it is running 2-12" boston rally subs, each in it's own enclosure. under the rear seat facing down.( It sounds awesome) I am using 8 gauge wire for main power directly to the battery fused with a 20 amp fuse. About 12" from the battery. The ground in attached to the chassis about 12' from the amp. (under the rear seat.)The gain was a little high, however I turned it down and I still seem to have the dimming issue. SO.....What should I do. I have a cap and will install it, but in all honesty I am asking for the correct charging method. Some people have told me different things and I want to make sure things are done right.Any advice to this issue would be great...

Peter
