Re: performance tips

Try a Cold Air Induction kit , or anything Ive done on my signature would help a bit. I found the combination of mods I have made a pretty serious difference espeacialy on the low end(0-60) hope that helps.

Re: performance tips

If you simply remove the resonator and catylitic converter and find a piggy back O2 sensor simulator so your check engine light dont stay on.
Doing that itself could improve your HP by 2-8 more depends on how well the simulator works so your not getting inconsistant air/fuel mixtures. Then you would definately need to consider a good muffler even though it would only make 1-2hp difference.
In your case , since your buying headers your gonna want to increase the diameter of your exhaust pipe by at least 1/4 inch if more you may need to have some slight restriction added for back pressure or a bottle with some louvers in it that can prevent some back pressure loss by putting it in backwards. I know alot of people are gonna think what I suggested is cheap and stupid but it works like a charm. It is cheap , 220 dollars for the entire pipe from the headers to the tail pipe , thats installed.

Re: performance tips

Anything on my list will help , the biggest bang for your buck would be "Cams , Supercharger , Turbo or Nitrous." Remember when you gain something you lose alot more than you gain , like the over all HP Hours an engine is rated for , agressive mods can shrink the life expectancy by alot unless you upgrade the entire engine to take that punishment , theres lots of other things that you could lose from Increasing HP. What alot of guys do is for example " I want a chip for my car , I want the most badass chip so my stock motor has more get up and go." Well sometimes its better to try the less agressive mods first , I seen lots of guys lose alot of money due to going that way.
