S15 NA to TURBO conversion
Hello.
I am an owner of a 1999 Nissan Silvia S15 Spec-S (Japanese spec) This is the NA model with the SR20DE 165hp VVL engine and 5-speed manual transmission. I want to swap for an SR20DET & 6-speed manual transmission from an S15 Spec-R model.Do you know what else will i need apart from engine, transmission, ECU, harness & brakes ? Is it better to leave the 5-speed transmission? (I have heared that the 6-speed gearbox cracks at about 350hp. Thanx!!
