Ok i have read & read and i understand Ford has some major electrical problems and "Ford" HQ does not really care. But i have to. I have 4 little ones that i have to put into my car every day.

When i am driving my 1997 Ford Taurus 3.0 L. without warning the lights on the dash (check engine,air bag,brake etc...) will come on, the tach jumps up and down,engine fades in & out (never totaly cuts off) speakers pop, Radio staion changes to an AM station (never loose pre-settings or time). Now this has only done this to me 3 times(in one day). It has done this to my wife several times (and i told her she was crazy). She does not pay attention to when it does it (hot,cold,wet,dry). So when it happened to me the only things that i noticed were acclerating braking or coasting, it just didnt matter it happened. Nothing out of the ordinary pot holes,hills or weather. I run mid-grade gasoline, i keep up on the oil changes, tune ups etc...The only common denominator in this whole freak'n thing is i have the ole door ajar thing going on. Have not yet fixed it doing it tonight but today it has been cold the door ajar light is not on, the car is not doing it. I dont think it could have anything to do with it but then again i am just a "shady tree mechanic". So, in reading alot of post in here i have come to the conclusion you guys are very FORD smart and i would appreciate any help i can get. I may have missed a post somewhere and i desperatly need some guidence. Thanks in advance!!!
