Question problem with clutch or tranny?Help plz

Well
Ive been thinking that i have a problem with the clutch since i just replaced the clutch disc and not the bearing throwout and the pressure plate...
But How would i know if thats not it?
Is there any way to check the tranny? oil? how to drain it?
I pulled my tranny down and i have it n my table im cleaning it but im wonder how would i know if the tranny is the problem?

When i clutch there was a noise and i didnt let me shift i had to turn the car off clutch shift 1 gear and then start it and then finally would go 1gear then i was easier to go to 2nd gear i didnt have to turn off the car anymore just alittle hard to shift to second gear and 3th 4th 5th..
I take i dont have a tranny problem since i could shift...no sure either.

The pressure plate looked pretty bad there was the bearing throwout mark n the plate.
I need some help plz .. thanks i can run the car and shift but its alittle hard since i have to turn off the car and shift 1gear then it would go without no problem..
I heard a noise n the clutch part before i took the tranny down..
tnaks guys..

Damn, you didn't tell me you used the stock pressure plate and throw-out bearing??!?! That's a definete NO NO, buy a new pressure plate and have a shop check out your new clutch disk to make sure it's not ruined. Don't forget the bearing too.
