inline fuel pump with nitrous? Good idea?

A friend of mine purchased a 99 GSR about a month ago and has been modding it gettting it ready for Nitrous, its going to be his daily driver(among his 3 other cars...damn rich mamas boy lol). So the motor has been rebuilt with new pistons, rods (JE and crower) and skunk2 cams (stage 2 i believe, i'm not sure on the compression on the pistons btw). He's looking into getting a spoon chip or some kinda chip. I'm not sure, anyone recommend anything? Anyway, my question is: With the nitrous should he just upgrade the intake fuel pump OR have an inline he can switch on for the nitrous? I thought an inline might be a good idea becuase he wont be squeezing all the time and probalby wont be racing so why have all that extra fuel? THe idea came to me cuz on my eclipse i had the stock and a 255lph inline so i can switch it on for high boost but i kept the stock for when i'm on the freeway and am not boosting. It worked great for my turbo'd app. I know a friend that had a similar set up on a GSX with nitrous but again, he was also turbo so i'm not too sure....Good idea or bad or just upgrade the intank pump?
One more thing, he was also contemplating on getting an AEM fuel rail, FPR and a FP guage. Nessasary? BTW, before anyone bitches, i used the search

Re: inline fuel pump with nitrous? Good idea?

The ecu chip is a bad idea, stay away from that! How big of a shot is he thinking about running? You need to know the C/R of the pistons, dynamic c/r if possible, and I would get an intank fuel pump. Unlike the turbo cars the fuel pressure will not be changed on it's own to compensate for the extra demand, it has to be tuned manually. A fpr is a good idea, the fuel rail is a waste of money though b/c the stock unit will support more power than he will think about making with that setup. Is the nitrous kit a wet kit or dry? Single fogger or direct port? get some more info and then we can help you better.

He was thinkin of a wetkit. Not sure which route though. Probably a single fogger. The most hp u can get out of a single fogger is 75, right?

Re: inline fuel pump with nitrous? Good idea?

Would a DP be a good way to go? How about on stock internals, for my own info cuz i plan on getting a GSR eventually. And he was thinking of getting a zex kit, i'm pretty sure zex doesnt make a direct port, do they?
Hey, hit me up on aim, i tried to IM u but it doesnt show u online. aim - xx convict
