dont know what code this is

my s-10 started to act like it wanted to shut off but it kept on running, well just today it started backfiring and missing and hestitating, now it wont run on code i get is, it flashes 3 times in a row, then pauses then 3 times again, then it goes to default code 12, what code is this for sure i would really appreciate some help, i dont know much about vehicles

code 33 Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor Circuit (High Sig.)
what year is your truck??? usually run on only happens in a carburated vehicle unless the ignition switch is sticking.

my truck is a 1993 chevy s-10 i put a new map sensor on it and it still does it, it cranks over

sorry i thought you said you shut off the truck and it kept running. i recomend getting a good shop to diagnose this one could be almost anything and throwing parts at the truck adds up fast. theres a lot of possibilities but a basic diagnostic test of all the sensors, fuel pressure, and compression will find the culprit. could be anything from stuck egr, jumped timing chain, loose distributor, bad cap/rotor/plugs/wires/ignition module, tps, injector, fuel regulator, ecm. if you have a decent manual and a multimeter you can diagnose most of the sensors. look for cracks/carbon tracking in the distributor cap. look for vacuum leaks too. good luck!!

i got it fixed it was something as simple as the rotorary button

i got it fixed it was something as simple as the rotorary button, thank you for the help though
