92 Bad Idle Please Help.
I have a 92 camry with 164,000 that idles badly. It dies @ stop lighs, or whenever is in the drive position. However its fine when in parking and neutral. I been told that it cold be the Trotle Position Sensor (TSP). I just would like more info before buying parts in a guessing manner.
Please Advice.... ps. Have done tune up (wire, oil, spark plugs, ect... to no suscess)

Check the vacuum hoses for bad connections or leaks, cracks, etc.
Get the ignition scoped to see if there is an ignition problem. Check the fuel flow and pressure to see if there is a fuel problem. Clean the injectors.

I had that problem with my 92 Camry a few years ago. I had the fuel injectors cleaned and it idled correctly again.
