240sx/sr20det Questions!!!!!!!!!
Help!, I Need To Find A New Engine For My 1990 240sx (my Engine Blew) (i Really Want A Sr20det, It Is My Graduation Present, Lol I Dont Have To Pay For It. But I Need A Reasonable Price). I Have Looked On Ebay And The Only Engines That Are For Sale Have No Ignitor Chip And Maf ( By The Way I Have No Idea What I Am Talking About). I Know I Need A American Domestic Engine. I Need One, I Rely On That Car For Eveything. Please Someone Help Me. Thank You!

Well it sounds like you don't know much about cars...so I guess telling you to read the FAQ won't work. It sounds like you need to keep your car as legal as possible because you rely on it so much. This means no SR20 because it won't pass smog tests. The engine that will fit your car is a KA24E. You should be able to find one really cheap. Where do you live?

SR20's suck anyways, Aluminum block POS. Go CA18DET, drops in easier, cast iron block, and is more efficient. Nitemare is right. But I can get you any JDM (Japanese Domestic Market... Or straight from Japan), SR20DET, CA18DET, RB series... Anything. So repost if you are interested in, i'll hit some prices for yee'z.
