Favorite Spark Plugs
What are the best spark plugs you've used in your s-10? Just wondering cuz I could either get NGK G-Power plugs or go with the usual Champion Copper Plus which I already have in there. Any recommendations?
p.s. A handy online parts catalog: https://www.rockauto.com/applet.html |

Re: Favorite Spark Plugs
I put in splitfire and they surprised me with the horsepower boost.

I am guessing your motor is stock.
Answer: AC Delco Have a hopped up ignition? I would still go with AC Delco. I think you multi pronged plugs might last longer but they shouldnt do a hole lot more in a stock S10. They are gapped the same with same amount of volts shooting through them. I would get a high output coil, better wires before worrying about the plugs. |

Re: Favorite Spark Plugs
I say go with AC Delco, Stock. the boost in HP is so small if any, I tried and couldn't tell the difference. It wasn't worth the extra $3.00 per plug. total $18.00 wasted.

Re: Favorite Spark Plugs
I like the Bosch +4. If your motor is stock, go with the AC's.

Re: Favorite Spark Plugs
Delco Platinums are the best bang for your buck. The 'power' you gain from any other plug is so infinitely tiny that it would probably be more econimical to fill up with premium once in a while, for that extra little boost, than it would be to go with anything but OEM plugs.
