Re: transmission fit ?

i dot know for sure, i'm trying to figure whether a 86 EW2 tranny will fit an 83 EM1, i have not personally worked woth an integra but from what i have read the geometry is a little differant with the drive shafts, both of them are the same length and there is is an intermediate shaft unlike the honda one where the drivers side shaft is longer. if you go to http://www.redpepperracing.com they will probally have a much better answer, that site is just for 84-87 civic/crx and many of them have done a D16A1 swap which has that transmission in it and will probally have a much better idea of what they are talking about
