Fold down rear seats?
I currently own a mustang, but I fell in love with the STI when i first heard about it and am thinking of getting one. I have this small problem though, I snowboard so i need to fit my board in my car. Is there any way that i can mod the back seat so it folds down? Or do I have to just live with it and mooch rides from people every time i go?
I know this seems silly to some people but it is a serious problem for me. |

I THINK the STi has a pass through for stuff like that, not sure.
I know I've heard of people swapping in the back seats from the wagon into the sedan bacause the wagon has fold downs. I don't know why you couldn't do that in an STi too. |

For some reason i didn't even think about a roof rack. I didn't even realize they made removable ones that's probably why. I checked and there are a couple of manufacturers who make racks that clip on and off. Thanks for the advice, hopefully soon enough I'll be back with stories of my future baby.

i had a problem with this on my 93 impreza... i have to JL subs in my trunk which made alot of bass... only problem was.. my back seat was like a sound-proof wall. i had to fold them down. so i rigged it some hinges using the bars which bolt it in at the bottom, and voila, now they fold down. which equals more bass in the cockpit... hehe
