Unhappy D16a6 to D16z6 Swap... motor wont start

I did a d16z6 swap on my 89 Crx Si. I replace the 89 dizzy with the 92-95 dizzy. I dunno if I wired it correctly, but all of my spark plugs get spark. I also am getting fuel to my fuel rail. I have all the componets I need for the motor to start excepts for getting fuel through my injectors. How do I get the fuel into my motor? Did I wire something wrong? My harness is still the same and I plugged everything in right. Please help!!!!!!

well, are you running obd1 or obdo? if so, i don't think u can use the 92-95 dizzy 'less u convert to obd1. If you are still using ur si wiring harness, then you have to bolt up an 88-91 si dizzy.

...from your description, it sounds like you're using OBD0 electronics..right? if so...throw the si dizzy back on... and if you didnt change any wiring, you should wire the injectors up the way they were....

Re: D16a6 to D16z6 Swap... motor wont start

why couldn't he use the z6 dizzy?? they have the same amount of wires, same colors... just take your Si distributor clips and cut them off and cut off the z6 dizzy clips and re-wire, or is that what you did already? if so that shouldn't be problem.

does the 92-95 civic ex/si's have the injector resistor box???? find that out.. the 88-91 Si harness does but i dunno if the rest do..

wont work unless you go back to 88-91si dizzy ,and go back to peak and hold injectors with resister box

obd1 uses saturated injectors thats why it wont work ,also you are better off using your 88-91 si intake manifold. just use the bare engine and bolt on your 88-91 dizzy and manifold with your injectors and ressister box and she will start up ,no prob.

Yeah 450's are huge, espcially for our car. Is your car turbo'd right now or what?
