Cannot open rear door

Replaced the door actuator, tried it several times. The lock moved both direction, thought I was OK. Closed the door and now I cannot open it by ny means!! Any ideas?

Can you get the door panel off enough to reach inside and manually unlatch it. I had the same prob.,once I got latch out I degreased it, seems all the old grease that had hardened was causing it to "freeze" up. Cleaned and lubed with white lithium grease, works like a charm now.

Not sure I can access it. The door panel is inside the lip of the door frame. I think the actuator was not aligned properly and I did not pay enough attention to that aspect. I think it is just mecahanic misalignment?? But, thanks for the reply!! Tom
