Chevy's VTEC??

K guys, Ive been wondering about chevy performance heads. I know honda has the VTEC that they can slap on almost any f*&%#&g engine, and ford has VORTEC, but what does chevy have as far as a 4 banger performance head for the 2.4L z24's)

Re: Chevy's VTEC??

nothing really.. thats the problem.. try mantapart.com they have ported heads and cams and stuff.. other than that you'll have to wait for the cobalt SS to come out cause that will be chevy's first sport compact with variable valve timing.. It's on an ecotec so it may be interchangable with a normal ecotec engine..

Re: Chevy's VTEC??

yea chevy has VORTEC, ford has ztec in the focuse and escort. and it doesnt matter what a LD9 has that you could relate to a honda motor with VTEC.

But if you want to know about the LD9 just ask. or how to add power to it.
