need help "fast" !!

we are most likely purchasing a 98 buick lesabre custom at noon 2day from Daytona Toyota for $6500, 68,000 miles beautiful car, runs and looks great. I'm getting a lil nervous tho, reading about the problem some are having with this plastic piece on the intake manifold.. Is this very common ? does it depend on how well the cars been taken care of? i only have a few hours to make this decision.

overall it a good car,about intake manifold evry now and then you have crack manifold but it is not a big deal.good luck with it
