1998 blazer rear window alignment

I own a 4 dr 2wd blazer. The problem is that the rear window glass hold down latch is coming away from the glass. It apears that the glass is being rasied out of position as it closes and the rear glass no longer seats with the window seal. The top of theglass when closed no longer follows the roof alignment. I have heard that the hinges can get bent. I don't understand how. If this is true I will assume that the only fix is replacement. Any help would be appriciated as I am currently overseas and have little means to get parts like this from the states. Thanks

Hi ,
I had the same problem on my 98 4door. The dealer just increased the size of the holes in the hinges, so the rear glass is adjustable.
