Headlight Harness...
Just pulled my headlight harness out to change my bulbs and look inside the harness and all kinds of fukin gunk and grease looking shit in there. I was discusted. Has this happened to anyone else and should I go about cleaning and how would I clean it? I mean I dunno if it will hurt anything but it does bother me.

If I'm not mistaken, that's just sealant so water doesnt get inside the harness, and so it has a better seal? I might be wrong, I can't remember what my headlight harness looked like, last time I looked at it was maybe 7 months ago..

Re: Headlight Harness...
Ok that makes sense but on my bike this is not the case. My bike is all clean up in there but I could be wrong.
Also an easy question.... H4 bulbs are the same as 9003s right?

Leave the grease, it's there for a reason. It's special condutive type bulb socket lubercant stuff. I can't remember it's exact purpose, but you can buy that stuff at most auto parts stores.

I was serious about that. I didn't mean it in the "headlight fluid" type of way. There really is lubercant grease stuff for automotive bulb connections, particularly headlights, that you can buy.
