I think i like the Saleen S7 more than Mosler MT900. I don't like MT900's styling at ALL. :{
Saleen has some more curves. I don't know about who will beat who in performance, but i'll go with S7, though it does cost twice as much at $375,000.

You don't like the MT900's styling? I could understand if you disliked the Raptor's styling...that thing was hideous (but fast).

I haven't heard much for performance figs yet either, but I think they'll be quite comparable. I think Saleen will take the edge in handling and Mosler will be brute straight line performance.

There is little in the automotive world that I like more than the S7 in terms of appearance... and its performance is pretty good too (this, of course, is a sarcastic understatement).

However, I'd choose something besides a Ford V8 ideally as the powerplant for my dream car. Nothing personal against Ford, it's just not the most sophisticated engine, even though it does undeniably sound great and certainly get the job done. I am a huge fan of forced induction, and something utilizing this would be preferable in my book.

The S7 is way overpriced, sure you have great performance, power, looks, etc., but is it really worth it?? I am eager to see how it performs in the Rolex 24 Hours today.

Saleen should be place maybe one of two step above Mosler's envelope. For one it has more power, way more power. Mosler can be had with a Z06 motor with 385bhp, but Saleen can be had with 550bhp. Of course, it also costs more.....about twice and a bit for that matter.....

The MT900 doesn't use the LS6 (Z06 motor) it uses the normal LS1(350 bhp). It does 0-60 in 3.5 seconds, 1/4 mile in 12 flat, weighs 2500 lbs. and looks great!! 0-60 in the S7 is closer to 3.7 I think. In my opinion, the Saleen has to many louvres(sp?) and vents. Plus, with the left over $210,000 (the MT900 costs $163,000)... you could buy another and mod the hell out of both!!!

Z06 one will be avaliable later in the year I believe. The MT900R(racing version) has the Z06 based motor in it.....

I think they both look goregous. The saleen has a higher top speed, doesn't it? I'm assuming because the Mosler tops out around 150.

I think that all of the louvres look okay. It's kind of characteristic of Saleen, in my opinion. I'd take the Mosler and modify the hell out of it....I wonder what Lingenfelter can do to it? YUMMY!

really maniac...I didn't know that. I read the Car and Driver article on it and it said nothing about the R. I wonder what its performance will be?? And, yes, it tops out at around 150.

The MT900R competed in the Daytona 24, their first ever race. Like expected, hit some mechanical problem. The car has 430 bhp motor based on the LS6 I believe. It will compete in this full season of Grand Am racing....

Yeah, I saw it in the 24 hours, but didn't think it would be released to the public.

Yeah, the MT900 tops out at 150, and Steve Saleen claims the S7 will reach 200. But it has 200(!) more power, and is twice the price. ALso, the MT900 should be as quick off the line. It has lower gears, to make acceleration quicker. Plus, I heard awile ago in some magazine that Mosler would offer the 650hp Lingenfelter stage II engine. You could certainly make a deal with them both, then slap on N0S (fun fun fun). THen you could put in a taller rear end, and boost top speed to over 200 mph, and preserve acceleration!
Ah, yes, isn't it fun pretending that you could afford all this!!
