Re: Car Entusiasts Needed!

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

To me, the camaro's from 67-69 look a lot better than anything camaro afterwards.

However, I like the technology of now. Take the corvette's ls6 engine for example. 405 hp, 20mpg depending on where you're driving, and how you're driving.

My dream is to one day have a 69 camaro that handles like a vette, has the power of a vette, with a nice sound system, 5 spd manual, power brakes, steering, windows, locks, everything. A new old car, basically.

You don't have to separate beauty from beast! The 1971 Hemi 'Cuda convertible is the best of ALL worlds. it has INCREDIBLE body styling, an awesome grill, and 500HP right off the assembly line. Get it without billboard stripes, and throw in a pistol grip 4-speed, and we're talking a quarter of a million dollars worth of the finest Detroit iron ever to bless this green Earth of ours!

Re: Car Entusiasts Needed!

Those last Hemi 'Cudas were quite the combination of beauty/beast.

I like basically anything made before 1980. I love Chevelle's, Challengers, Chargers (the General Lee the most!), Cuda's, Nova's, but I also like the non- muscle cars, like Bel-Airs, Impala's, Fairlane's, etc. For newer cars, I love Tiburons, Eclipse's, Lancer Evolutions, Mustangs, but what I would really like, is the new Dodge Charger R/T concept.... It's too bad they didn't end up producing it.
