2001 ABS problem
I have a problem with my ABS; when i approach exactly 5 miles an hour my ABS engages and pulses the brake pedal BAD! Its doesn't seem to be its normal engagement of ABS it pops and grinds terriably. Does anyone have a similar event with their Tahoe? If so please give me some advice.
Oh yes i did remove the 60 amp fuse and the problem stopped but it sucks driving with my ABS and Brake lights lit-up on my dash! HELP. |

Re: 2001 ABS problem
most likely a bad speed sensor somewhere. an abs scan tool is the easiest way to check them. sometimes metal particles mess up the sensor, try cleaning all of them.

I have a 2001 ls with 30k on it.
My ABS works fine but i was told that you could have a bad ABS sensor. I hate to say this but swing by the dealer if your still under warrenty they will cover the repair. |
