HID converters
I recently installed HID converters on my 98 I30. The guy who installed them said they only come with high beam and there's no low beam. I got the lights now for a few days but I'm wondering if any of you guys did the conversion and if they are illegal to have them on. I appreciate any comments, thanks

Re: HID converters
well in NY the beam pattern doesnt matter... you can have the lights facing the sky long as they work. but some ass of a cop will probably give you a ticket for driving wiht highbeam.... long as its in the lowbeam socket and now highbeam light on .. your fine..
