Uhh...SL? Without a doubt. The S2000 weighs a few hundred pounds less, and has more hp. Doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure that out. VR4? I think the VR4 takes off the line faster, but the S2000 catches up very quickly, and passes the VR4. It has 60 less horsepower, but weighs over 500 lbs. less than the VR4, and the VR4 just takes too long to accelerate. If you're talking about a newer VR4, there's a good chance that car takes the race, with 320 hp. Just my

actually my dear friends, the 1st gen vr4 run in between 14.1 and 13.9 in the 1320, the s2000 runs inbetween 14.3 and 14.1. two good drivers should equal the vr4 winning but with only a .2 difference its more less a drivers race. elementary my dear slaventy, elementary.

What is this a joke The GTO would kill the S2000 any day vr4 fully turbo'd 1000+hp stock GTO 276Hp & The S2000 only puts out 246Hp

LMAO ^^ what the hell are you talking about,lol, funny thing is i know exactly were you got that from, one of the best games of all time, gran turismo 3. when you max out the vr4 in the game it has like a little over 1000hp and it runs mid 9's. lol

AHHH A-spec what a game, gotta love the turboed indy cars. Anyway, I always thought the s2000 broke into the 13s, I don't remember where I heard that, but I was under that impression (car and driver tv?) Regardless, that car has relatively no torque and vr4 will take it off the line. I've raced one, but she was a bad driver so it wasn't even fun. But normally, the vr4 should launch faster and stay ahead the whole race.

I always thought the S000 was a low 14's car O.o But yeah, I don't think it would be able to catch up to a VR4 after the start.

your right the s2000 has broke into the 13's before but there average run is 14.1 thats from road and track, i believe c/d ran it at 14.2. but just as every car has ran a faster time than what the norm is so has the s2000. actually the 350z and the S2000 are compared all the time because they run like identical times. and tho it has no tq its light as hell and can haul a$$. any car that can break in the 13's stock is fast imo

An S2000 would beat an SL anyday but if it was a VR4 it would close but the VR4 would go on top. If you turbo the S2000 though the VR4 has no chance at all

Lets not start a mod this, mod that arguement. There is no limit to what you can do to any car if you have the money.

I have every confidence that a VR4 will eat the S2000 even after a roll. Sure the Honda is lighter, but with the power band so high in the RPM range, it can't hold high speeds as well as the wide band on the VR4.
