how much would you pay...

Hey guys, i own a black 98 civic dx coupe and it has 40,000 miles on it. It is a manual and has 10% tint and stock cd player. How much would you buy this car for? I was wondering what price i could start it off at. Also ...if i do sell it i might buy a del sol. will a turbo that is fit for a dx civic also fit in the del sol if they have the same engine? How bout the ic plumbing? Just wanted to know what i could price my car at and what parts i could switch from car to car.(del sol)

you have pretty low mileage. I'd start at around 6-8k

According to the Kelly Blue Book, your car has a Pirvate Party re-sale value of $7,245, so GScivic7 and defmusik were both pretty close in what they'd sell it for.

Depending on interior and exterior condition also. If Im not mistaken, if it was serviced at a dealer its whole life, it would bump the price up a bit...I think.

www.kbb.com would be a place to see estimates.

there are other sites kinda like kbb except I cant remember the names now. the reason Im saying is because hondas and other manufacturers like toyota normally sell a little higher due to their reliability history, you might want to look around or just go on to autotrader.com and see what other private sellers are asking for them with similar mileage etc. my

"little" being the key word. Dude, who wants a 106hp optionless econobox for more than 7 grand? You can buy way nicer cars for that.

I think thats too expensive. I got my 2003 Civic LX brand new for like $13,700. You couldve gotten a newer car with lower mileage with that kinda money you paid for.
