Lower clutch pedal
Can anyone recommend where to find a new clutch pedal? VW says they do not supply them and sent me to my dealer, who of course is contacting VW again.
I have a lower back problem and cannot manage the "long throw" of the clutch pedal; I want to modify the pedal so it is close to the floor. I've read on some vw-sites that the long throw was a concern of others - but no one offered solutions, and VW doesn not want to resolve it either, it seems. I've driven a manual all my life. I have a 99 Jetta VR6 gls.

I don't know if they make one but if your throw is short (the clutch disengages shortly after you press it) then you could cut the second pedas about 1/3 of the way down and get it rewelded to be closer to the floor.
