Car shuts off while driving

I have a 95 Eagle talon esi that shuts off while i'm driving.Everything in the car is still on but have no response from the gas pedal. Rpm hit 0.
sometimes it starts right up or it takes about a day wait.

I've replaced the computer, fuel filter, crank position sensor, plugs and wires.

Any help would be appreciated

Re: Car shuts off while driving

I have a 96 aurora that did the same thing. At speeds up to 45mph. I replaced the feul pump and it stopped. 6 months later it started again. Again new feul pump. The second time I went with the best grade of fuel pump. I have not had the problem since (2 years now).

hahs.. mmk i wish you wouldnt had replaced some of those things.. . the ecu are very rare in causing such problems.. i'd try the Cam shaft postion sensor... but .. this in my experience is a sign of faulty crank shaft, rod, or balance shaft bearings..
