How much did you spend?

How much have you ever spent on models at one time? One time I ordered a bunch of kits from HLJ and spent around $210.

The most I've ever paid in person was $105 at a hobby shop in Cadillac, Michigan, 1 week before it closed, when they were having a big sale. Got an original issue Tamiya Ferrari Testarossa for $12. He had some other cool stuff like a 1/32 F-14, but I spent too much already

Re: How much did you spend?

I just spent $450 on a mini-lathe for making model parts. My credit card has had about the same amount on it at times for models.

Re: How much did you spend?

135 €, for a LeMansMiniatures kit of the Porsche 917 (Pedro Rodriguez version)... A crazy thing, regarding to my budget, but worth it anyway!...

£190 for a Pocher 1/8 Testarossa!
£150 for a Le Mans Minitures Peugeot 905 was a bit excessive, as was £109 for a Robustelli F40 Transkit!

Had to turn down the urge for an Autograph F40 transkit at £750, thank goodness!

Supercarfreak would win this one hands down!

Re: How much did you spend?

I spent $AUD58 one day at the LHS, I got some styrene rod stock, some brass rod for axles, Fujimi Benz 300CE super inch up (for its brembo brake set), some paint, some new brushes, and a proidge pin-vise/drills...
I spent about $50 on my biggest order with HLJ...
I feel like a tightarse compared to you guys!

I spent about 550 dollars for 1 single model kit. (actually, I did that TWICE). (For the Pocher Bugatti kits)

I also spent more than 350 dollars for 3 other models. (1:24 Franklin Mint)

I usually spend between 40 and 60 dollars per kit for a model. Most of them are resin.
