69 Ford F100 Steering Column
I've got a 69 f100 that needs a steering column. I'd like to put in a newer (mid 80s) tilt wheel from a Ford or GM. Anyone have suggestions? I know the wiring will be different, but I'm planning on rewiring the column anyway because the old wiring is already shot. This is a low budget project truck. I know it'll never be a pearl, more like fools gold, so I'm not looking for a perfect resto job. Just something to learn on.

Re: 69 Ford F100 Steering Column
you can take most any ford column up to i think 78 and it should bolt in.
i've also heard that a chevy van will work also, but the wires won't work.the best way would be to find another ford and check the length to see if it'll match. |
