who makes a good exaust system?

Im wondering if anyone has a 2.4L like my 96 se, and if so then maybe you guys could tell me what exaust sytems you put on your cars, like who makes it and the certian components. I want a low rumble sound, not the high whine that alot of people put on 4 cylinders. Any suggestions on a good exaust for this would be appreciated. And for anyone that asks no im not a newbie on cars. This is the first new, well newer car iv done, iv only done work on old chevelles (my all time fav. car ), and i dont feel like spending money on something that wont work. Thanks

Re: who makes a good exaust system?

Well I am personaly a fan of the Magnaflow Mufflers, they sound great, Corsa, Borla, Flowmast. They all are pretty good, just dont go for the Grapefruit Launchers heh I hate those things, HUGE exhaust tip and makes it sound like a weed wacker.

Re: who makes a good exaust system?

well your never going to get he sound of a v6 or v8 from a 4 cylinder. But what kind of exhuast do you want, header back, cat back, just a muffler? want to make alot more power, or just looking for sound?

Re: who makes a good exaust system?

I know im not gunna get that kind of sound. I just dont want the weed wacker sound. I'm gunna put a set of headers on it (any good suggestions?), and i want to give it more power, im not to worried about the sound, i just dont want the annoying high pitch sound.

Re: who makes a good exaust system?

well they dont make a header for the LD9 yet that fits the nbody. but RSM should release one by maybe summer time. But i would go to a shop and have them do it, go with 2.25 inch or 2.5 inch piping all the way back from the downpipe.
