Underdrive Pulleys?????
Hi everyone, I was just wondering what your thoughts on underdrive pulleys are? I know they give you a little more power but have heard that your accessories, like you air conditioner, dont work as well.
I would like to know some pros and cons on these if anyone has any experiance with them. Thanks kmoney67954 2000 Chevy Silverado Short Bed Reg. Cab 4.8l with K&N FIPK and 2 Flowmaster turbo mufflers with high flow cats |

Everything will work like normal as long as you buy both the crank pulley and the alternator pulley. You'll gain about 1-2 tenths off of a quarter mile and they will usually run you alittle over $200. Really not worth the money, IMO. I would save this for one of the last mods you do, due to the high cost and little gain. Another downfall is that, after helping my friend put some on, I must tell you.... the crank pulley is a pain in the butt to put on. You'll have to have a pulley puller and it takes some time finding a way to get some leverage to take the bolt out.
