Question Anyone have a tamiya f1 2000?

Im having some difficulty attaching the decals most especially the spoilers. They sometimes melt when i spray clear coats to it...

Yeah, they'll do that!

You have to make sure they

a: Have stuck down very well and dried for 48 hours

b: The first few coats are as light as you can make them, and spray one coat, then leave it to dry!

The melting effect usually settles a bit as it dries.

Sometimes its good to race cars with a few decals to cover up a bad paint job !!!

So i just have to slide ity off my finger onto my kit the squeez the juices

out with a towel right? then dry.
Though sometimes i notice smaller
decals wont stick at all requiring some coaxing and sometimes break.
i hate it when this happens

Use tweezers to coax it off, and it must slide off easily, otherwise it needs to be left longer after taking it out the water. (It still only needs DIPPING in water!)
Dab it with a damp cotton hankerchief, not a towel!

If stuff won't stick, use Microsol, but only after the decal is in posistion!

Decals will not stick to unpainted plastic, at all!
