97 Grand Am SE electrical? problem
Today when driving my battery light (then later the anti theft) came on so i immediately looked it up in the manual. It said it could be an electrical problem and to turn everything (radio, heat) off and get it checked out asap so I turned everything off and kept driving (needed to get to school).
***About 30 minutes later my car started to ?stall out? Lights in the dash were flashing, the thermostat and accelaration pins started going crazy and it was making loud noises. ***So, I pulled my car over and it eventually shut off by itself. I was able to drive it for about 2 minute intervals before the steering wheel locked up and engine shut down (I only did it twice tho). ***When I called the dealership they said to bring it in and have an electrical diagnosis done then they would tell me what was wrong. Unfortuanatly, I dont have the money to get this checked out and was just wondering if anyone knows of this problems (or has any ideas as to whats wrong). ***Any help at all would be greatly appreciated since I've already put alot of money into this car.
