Right Brake Light
For some reason my passenger side brake light has stoped working. the right rear turn signal doesnt work either. i noticed this because when i put on right turn signal, it blinks very fast inside the car. when i put on the left signal, it blinks at reguler speed.
I have replaced all three pasenger side brake lights bulbes and replaced a front driver side maker light and the rear brake light and rear right turn signal still doesnt work. i looked at rear light cicuit board and it seems fine. i even switched it out with a new circuit coard to see if it was the problem, and its not. What else could bit be |

Re: Right Brake Light
Sounds like the same problem I had with my 98 Silverado. The driver side wire harness was replaced and everything worked fine. Now I'm having the same problem with the passenger side although it sounds normal when I have a trailer hooked up. Do any of the lights work? I've noticed with mine that the blinker and brake lights are very dim.

Re: Right Brake Light
It's been several years since I had it fixed but I think it was between $17 and $25. You'll probably have to get one at a dealership.

Your right flasher is blinking fast because your burning out bulbs which burn out over a couple days of driving, due increased voltage (not electrician) and my guess is your not poping any fuses right... Your probably looking at an open short.
Couple things to check - If you have trailer wiring check that first, its an easy start. Next remove both tail lights and plug your left into the right side if it works then you have a back tail light connector assembly ($35). |
