1992 Blazer 4x4 4.3 Vortec wont start
I am trying to get this blazer 4.3 vortec 4x4 to start, i have replaced the spark plugs, HT leads, Distributor rotor and cap and replaced the spider injector, the engine just turns over and gives a strong smell of gas. i have taken the spark plugs out and cleaned them up. when you try and start the engine the exhaust just blows out little bits of white smoke, any ideas? the car is sat in a back yard, somone had taken the intake off and stolen the spider injector, when you install the spider injector do the spiders "legs" have there specific holes or is it just any leg to any hole???
Please help if you can, i will supply any new info if anyone needs it |

Re: 1992 Blazer 4x4 4.3 Vortec wont start
these are fun I replaced this on my92 blazer the cpi spider assembly. Put in cpi and push the tubes in each hole untill you here it snap in place position each tube the way it will fit the best without putting to much strain on the other hoses and the electrical connector. If it got melted a little from it resting on the manifold cover you can pick up some black harness tubing the same that is on there to protect the wire ,after you finish torque all the bolts carefully to there specifications and make sure there are no fuel leaks. Did you check for spark?
