ford torsion key replacement question

i read up and saw that u can replace ur stock torsion keys with ford keys and what i was wantin to know can u just replace the key its self or????

and can u replace the torison bar with a beefery one? or?????

and replacin it with the ford one would u need an aninglinement? or not really? or????? hope that wasnt stupid soundin
