1992 BMW 325 CD changer wiring location

I have just purchased a beautiful 1992 325i and as part of the package I got a 6 disc cd changer by BMW separately with the purchase, I would like to know if anyone can tell me where the wiring is in the trunk and how to get the coverings off to install it. I am pretty good at mechanical items but I didn't want to rip into the back without knowledge of what I would be looking for. Any help would be appreciated!

In my '93 it's located on the driver side of the trunk by the rear wheel well. On that side, on the trunk liner there should be a small plastic disc that says "pre-wired for CD changer". You can just pull up the carpet from the base of the trunk (where the spare is) and then pull out the carpet on the side (there should be nothing securing the carpet so you don't need to detach/unhook anything). It pulls out pretty easily and does not need to be removed completely. It's also pretty sturdy carpet

You'll see the 14 pin plug that fits the BMW changer behind the carpet/liner (I'll presume you have the correct changer for your '92).

Good luck
