installing coilovers

does anyone know the best way to install coilovers.
or even better, does anyone at all know how to install them at all on a 89 crx si!!!!!

what kind of coilovers? real coilovers or those adjustable springs? you just lift the car, take the wheel off, top strut bolts off, the brake line off, the lower part that holds it. you might have to detach the lower control arm. then take out your stock assembly. get a spring compressor and compress the spring so it doesn't sock you in the face. take off the top strut bolt (easy with an impact wrench). take off the top rubber mount. take the spring off and reverse the removal to install.

i thought some adjustables were coilovers. i have soem and the company calls them coilovers. do you know specifically what dtermines if they are coilovers. is it that easy on a 99 civic

well there are "full" coilover setups and "sleeve type". sleeve type is what the ground controls are. and full setups come with struts and springs matched with eachother. that's y their the best. it should be that easy on the 99 civics also. the only thing that sucked for me was not having power tools cuz that's a lot of hard wrench turning.

hey mine are just coilovers i think
they didnt come with springs. they are tom motorsports. i think.
but how do i put them on..............
help.
is tom motorsports good?
any...um.......my ride will be not as smooth when i get them on right?
