Re: crx engine swap...what is best?

The most common swap is the B16a engine swap. At 160HP, this engine is solid. The only catch is that you will need to buy motor mounts, Integra axles, and an AC bracket to drop it into a 4th gen. This engine costs around $1500 with everything needed minus the AC bracket and mounts.

Another good swap is the DOHC ZC swap. 130 HP, considerably weaker than a B16 and parts are hard to find. This engine drops right in to a 4th gen without modifications however and only costs around $600.

a little rewiring is neccesary with this swap. what exactly are your intentions with this car. fun daily driver IMO would be a dohc zc.
