Have you checked out the FAQ lately? I hear they got some useful info in there...

But to answer your question, AEM is the best... NO, you don't need a bypass valve unless your going to drive through the ocean, or a deep puddle. Any ole online store will work. I know the owner of www.speedwerks.com, so I guess i'll tell you to go there... not sure if they carry AEM though. Good luck.

I've got an AEM CAI, I love the sound and EASY install, but I can't help you out on the power output.

and.....don't waste your money on the bypass valve if you're going to mount it properly and you don't plan on using your car as a submarine....

Question

i actually have a small question about my intake...
i just installed an iceman cold air on a 94 integra like two days ago and i can definately tell the difference, but i can hear it...like the vacuum sound.when i accellerate it makes a whistling sound. im thinking it sounds like a small leak but i can't find it. so my next guess is that the seal isnt tight enough...

or is it just supposed to do that...?

This didn't happen before you installed the intake, right? You may hear a litte whistle, sometimes. I would have to hear it to know if it was normal. If you think it is louder than it should be, see below.

Check the hose that runs from the intake to the valve cover. If you didn't change the hose when you did the intake...now would be a good time.

Also, make sure that the lower half is touching the upper half (where the rubber attachment is).

Check your clamps (make sure that they are tight).

If you can't find the leak...take off the filter and turn the lower half upside down. Now, blow smoke through the intake tube (you may want to have some friends help, it takes alot of smoke)...where ever you see smoke coming out is where your leak is. (this technic doesn't work in all cases but, it's worth a try.) Make sure that you do this in a clean area.
