Exclamation brakes

Just to let everyone that owns a NBS 4 wheel disc brake truck that it is important to service the rear brakes at least once a year. I just did a complete brake job on my 2000 silverado 4x4 1500 LT the parts[new] just blew me away $300.00 per rear rotor-$160.00 per front rotor and rear calipers $257.00 a piece. This is all AC-delco new parts$1400.00 total dealer cost. I just bought this truck 3 months ago and it was certified and emissions tested the mechanic that certified this truck just put new pads on all four corners but did'nt grease the pins or sliders so the rear seized and wore the rotors [front&rear] past the min. thickness All this damage would have been avoided if the AHOLE mechanic just did the job right by cleaning the pins&sliders and the proper brake lub. So my point is for you DIYers make sure you clean&lub all pins&sliders.. Sorry for the RANT at least the job was done right by ME...
