I have a hard time getting the damn thing into gear. Mainly when I stopped, I have trouble putting it in 1st or Reverse. I seems that I have to let off the clutch and press it again a couple of times before it will go into gear? Does anyone else have this problem? Is it my clutch, gear box, tranny? Please help me!

Same with reverse/1st
Also my 5th gear has trouble going in if I'm shifting into it at above 3000 rpms. The way the gearbox is designed means that little oil gets to 5th and it gets bad |

when you guys go to put your car into 1st or reverse put it in 2nd first. I dont know why but it makes it easier to put it into gear. And make sure in reverse that its all the way in or itll grind like a stripper.

This is a common problem with a lot of Hondas, the way i get it into gear is to let the car roll just a little bit and it will slip right into gear

Re: Re: A this is why it's called the "cash eater"
yep happens to me. Sometimes i think my car is in gear....*first gear that is* and when i start giving it gas, the thing grinds like a mofo. I just have to push in harder n' it goes into gear.

Re: Re: A this is why it's called the "cash eater"
If I'm going into first gear i go to 2nd then 1st...and if I'm going reverse I go 2nd to 1st to reverse. It is a habit and always works better.

Re: Re: A this is why it's called the "cash eater"
Double clutching helps to make it easier to get into reverse, same with going into a forward gear than going into reverse.
