Reducing Nitric Oxide
Does anyone know how to reduce Nitric Oxide for smog? I am pushing too much out and need to know how to reduce it. I tried to search the forum about it but nothing talks about it so I just asked hoping someone knows about smog and reducing NO. I tried google but not much luck...I get a lot of environmental sites....

He's talking about NOX not NOS.... Try seafoam in the gas tank, brake booster line, and crank case or pay up to get your car "carbon cleaned".
(http://www.nissaninfiniticlub.net/fo...ght=rough+idle) Make sure you run your car at least 30 minutes prior to getting it checked. Last resort, your cat might be dead, might need to have that replaced... |

Re: Reducing Nitric Oxide
thats what i thought, but wasnt sure. they wouldnt have a way of knowing the car had n20 if they didnt see a button. my NOX skyrocketed, and plugs, rotor, dis, cap, o2 sensor, plug wires, etc, helped it go down.

Re: Reducing Nitric Oxide
Maybe you could clean your plugs. I think what happens is you dont have a complete combustion. Maybe advance timing a little. try running a lower octane fuel if you run high octane. the higher the octane, the more compression it requires to burn. Your catalytic converter may be faulty.
