Talking i-4 sucks

its funyn .. all the i-4 has is forced induction to actually give it a purpose....
now that the v6 has balls behind it thanks to ripp modds alpine nextgen and such
whats teh point of an i4?
i can go n/a and tear apart a f/i i4....
its rediculous
and teh kits out arent that great unless youre goin custom... which is unlikely unless your sponsored or have unlimited cash flow...
and the v6 can go turbo.... or be super charged.... or naturally aspired
so!
do any i4 owners wanna try and say anything funny liek my turbo will beat you....
cause its rediculous
....but theres always that hope a company will decide to give you gus a real turbo kit...
id like to see some real nice i4s around here...
AND NO IM NOT FUCKING TALKING ABOTU KOREA... SO DONT START THAT SHIT

what are you doing? you wanna talk outta your ass, go ahead, but im gonna have to put you in your place.

im happy you're optomistic and believe that people have the engine up to 300whp. in fact, why dont you do it? please go try it, id like to see how your engine ends up.

i personally know of one person that will soon have their tib running past 400whp in fact hes shooting for 500whp, on the beta1. where are the delta's that can do that? in fact, show me dynos of a delta that can top 250, cause i can show you plenty of dynos from betas that will crush 250.

in fact, i couldnt find one delta tib that has broke into the thirteens. why hasnt there been one yet? thats a pretty easy e/t to accomplish considering how popular the delta gk tibby is.

the delta has been through R&D for about two years now. after two years, there were plenty of 250whp+ beta tibs running around. why arent there any delta ones yet, especially considering that there is TONS more interest in the v6 engine?

I wouldn't waste your breath on nisco. He obviously doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground. I posted the thread below this asking if anyone knew of the website andysautosports.com and nisco replied with probably crap. How would you know, is that your expert opinion. I was asking if anybody had actually bought anything from them. Not, what you think they might be like. If I want your opinion I'll give it to you, nisco. Last but not least, nisco, learn how to write because your grammar and spelling make me want to puke.

nisco, when you learn as much about tuning a vehicle as you do about talking out of your ass come back here and tell us something, until then, stop wasting our time.

Dude the v6 is only making 31 more hp then the i4 model. But the inline 4 costs less on insurance, better gas mileage, and it is a few grand less msrp. With all that money you are saving you could more then make up 31hp! Hell you could even buy a turbo kit.

If you don't want people to think your ignorant then don't say ignorant things. I am just wondering if anybody has heard of the website, not of the actual coilovers themselves. Thank you for replying nisco, since you are the only one who did. I guess no one really has heard of them. The main thing I am interested in are the rims, they seem to well priced but I haven't really looked around much. I apologize for the rude remarks, bitching. I may be mistaken but I don't think Eibach makes coilovers for the Tib, just lowering springs. The question I have is, what is the difference between coilovers and regular lowering springs. Is the ability to adjust the ride height the only difference. Also, how hard is it/how long does it take to adjust the height with coilovers. Last question, I am planning on putting a body kit on and 17" rims, should I put these on before I attempt to lower the car, my thoughts would be yes. How low can you go with 17" rims, or should I go with 16" rims. Yes I am new to the game when it comes to customizing cars, because I have never had the cash to do it. Now I do, not really but who needs to eat anyway. How's this for some conversation.

Re: i-4 sucks

put the body kit on first...
i dont have coil overs... but i havent heard anyone complainof adjusting the height at all.. and i know several tib owners....
but put the kit on... then the 17s... then the coil overs....

the thing with helping make a body kit look complete sometimes depends on teh rims...
i have 17s on my car now with the kit.. and im looking for 18s.. and possibly 19s... thats a big maybe!
but i would go 17s

now another question.. are you looking to go more style or performance right now?

style... bigger rims.. 18s usually look real nice
but they get a lil pricey and alil heavy... soem times much heavier than 17s
performance... (but still look nice)
there are light weight 17s and soem look horrible... in my opinion and some look good... like racing harts.. those rims usually look very good and very light
but theyre very expensive... which sucks!

coil overs are very stiff i heard.. not like lowering spring which are more soft... i guess youd say...
but what im doing is working on getting a hydraulic susupension.... not like the ones on low riders.. but more of a slow up... and down.. goes up 4 inches and goes down 4 inches from stock height....
the company is Cozy-tech in korea.. very expensive kit.. but very worth it.. im trying to set up a group buy for the kit once i get a contact to drop teh price....

by the way.. what kit caught your eye...
cause sometimes the kit is much lower than stock.. which will be a problem driving.. well actually eaither way a kit ..any kit will gove oyu trouble.. but i can help you out

The kit I am interested in is the Erebuni 107. The wheels I am looking at are the 17 X 7 Konig Holes in Graphite with a machined lip. I think I will probably go with the regular Eibach lowering springs as I do not want my suspension any stiffer than it already is. Then I am going to get my car painted but I do not know what color yet. I am thinking maybe a pearl white, but I haven't made my mind up. I am going for looks and performance, but most of the performance is going to have to wait until my warranty runs out. I do not want to void the drivetrain warranty. I am the second owner, so it runs out at 60,000 miles. Right now I have 37,000 miles. I am going to put on an exhaust and cold air intake if the dealer says it will not void the warranty. Then when the warranty is over I am going to put on a custom turbo and have the whole engine rebuilt to accomodate the 15 or so psi of boost I plan on running. I will need to put in a limited slip too. I am hoping of getting around 300 to 350 hp.

Re: i-4 sucks

ehaust and a cai will not void the warranty... the warranty will only be voided if that after market part causes a problem

so if your cai causes your car to hydrolock... then your engine is not under warranty...

get it?

erebuni is crap
and i mean that with the up most seriousness
the quality of teh fiber glass is terrible and fittment is even worse
i would stay way from that
www.importshark.com
has several kits... ill look for more websites with kits

Andy's Auto Sport has kits for any car imagineable- even for geo metros! LOL but the Tiburon link is down or someting so go to the site and just search for bodykits or whatever and not everything that they have for the Tib (like exhaust and lighting)
But yea Andy's Auto Sport is a good site.

Re: i-4 sucks

It says on the site that they make their own kits and also sell name brands. It is funny that you should knock Erubini when others name that company as one of the good ones, along with wings west.

The Tiburon links aren't completely down, either Mumm click on the picture above the hyperlink text instead of the text.

I am thinking of the Veilside Kit now, if I can get one for $1000 or under I will get it.

please god i hope you read this before purchasing.

daniel, dont ever get a new veilside kit if it is under 1000 dollars. you will be screwed royally when you find out that the knock off kit you purchased will cost atleast the same total after a body shop has to do custom fabrication to get it to fit right. get the real veilside kit only from an authorized dealer of www.veilside.com.

the fabrication needed to make these "vader" kits fit, combined with their shitty quality, makes them not worth it at all.

Re: i-4 sucks

erebruni is crap!!!!!!!!!!!
any veiside kit not bought from veilside or its distributor is a copy
jus cause a company makes their kits by hand doesnt make them good...
usually that means crap.. liek 2 or 3 sheets of shitty molded fiberglass
trust me if theres anything i know its about body kits

if you buy a knock off kit you will regret it... because it wont fit right... probably have disformations and bubbles
it will crack easily.. and youll be lucky if the paint stays to teh kit.... depending on the material used...
youll spend nearly twice as much as you paid for teh kit... to get it installed properly
the material is that bad
if you dont belive me thats fine.. and if you dont care thats fine too
but remeber you get what you pay for.. and in this case... youre gonn abe gettin crap if you cheap out on a body kit
