Question Bought a '94 Golf

Hello everybody,

I'm new over here, just found his forum, and it seems pretty nice.

Hope i can get answers to my questions, as well as help others whenever i can.

I bought a '94 Golf III, and i'm curious about 2 things:

1. What's the difference between de CL and the GL versions?
2. When it starts to run low on gas, does it lights up anything? I think i'm almost out of gas, but i don't get any light... is it normal?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Bought a '94 Golf

1. I have been driving 1994 Golf GL for about a month. GL is based on earlier GTI (2.0L) motor, and I suppose CL is based on 1.8L motor.
