Re: af's own project model car

i dunno. I think it should be composed of domestic, and import, so maybe something like a Camaro or Mustang with a turbo and import influence, or do up an Integra, or Skyline using muscle car colors, and paint schemes, like hugger orange with flat black spoiler and hood.

Re: af's own project model car

to reflect all the modeling here, it should be a skyline on gold spokes and white walls with body kit and spoiler. Then, a huge blown hemi stickin out of the hood.

just kidding, the Z idea is cool

The way I'd go about this:

Just have everyone vote on what they'd like to see in certain parts of the kit.

1. List the models you're interested in building

2. After one has been decided, list options to do to different parts of teh car; for example:

1. How should I do the hood?
a. Keep it stock
b carbon fiber
c. add a scoop
d. lose the hood!

2. What color should the interior be painted?
a. black with red accents
b. red with yellow accents
c. tan with brown accents

3. Wheels?
a. chrome spinners
b. black Watanabe 15's
c.

Or something like that. You may end up with a green Honda NSX with gold wheels, a blue and orange interior, and a Hemi, but...

I vote for that one ^^

Honestly, here's my feeling.

00 r34 vspec II (most built car)
lose the hood
ducktail, or a real low clean spolier
17's are fine, but not stock, not chrome
disc brakes
awd platform
10pt rollcage
detailed engine bay
cut the engine base leaving the oil pan, and drop a supercharged 454 chevy in it. (in fact, the one from the revell monogram 70 3 n' 1 chevelle will be perfect)
up to date seats and belts, lose the rear seat
strut bar in rear (since one wont fit in front for obvious reasons)
kinda low, but not tucking or 4x4ing
for paint, hugger orange or ford blue with a flat black spoiler
