92 Galant won't start!!

Hi All,
Am new here and trying to be the hero with the wifes 92 Galant. Think prob started about a week ago with a missing that started for just 5 seconds or so at a time. Seemed to only be when going up a hill slow , car would downshift, rough miss, then would come out of it. First thing I thought was fuel filter. Changed filter and the very next day seemed to be happening more often. Now was even happening on level ground. Next day she came home and said was really acting up and parked for the night. Now try to start this AM and no fire. Has fuel, pulled plug and grounded to block(has spark). Plug does need replaced though with a lot of wear. Tryed either and no fire. Does anyone have any ideas at all with something these beasts might be known for??

Went to NAPA and bought new NGK's as old were only throwing an orange spark upon inspection. LOL....and must have had a gap of .090. Is a wonder they fired at all. I thank the board for the posting space.
