You can go to the dealer and get a new remote. They will be able to program it for you or give you instructions on how to program it. The car should have the factory alarm on it. Quote:

This sounds like classic symptoms of your supercharger coupler having worn out. You do not have to purchase a new supercharger to fix this. In fact, you don't even have to take the entire supercharger off the car. You can drain the supercharger oil, and then remove the snout using a 10mm wrench and a 10 mm swivel wrench\snake wrench set. I've done this before so if you dad wants to attempt the fix have him shoot me an e-mail. [email protected] |

read up, you can learn alot Before checking the coupler, look at the supercharger belt. Is there alot of play? Could be too much play and the idler is jumping around |

Re: Couple of Questions about a 98 GTP
For OEM parts go to http://www.worldparts.com and as ripn12s suggests check the simple things first. Loose belts can cause an alternator to fail, a car to heat(Not enough water pumping) and a SC to behave just as you have said. If the belt is ok then the SC procedure is in order
