Cool How many people have removed there Rear Sway bars??

Do you notice any difference in performance ON ROAD? I'm sure OFF ROAD it's way better.. Right?? Planning on getting some bilstiens all around and heard I'll have to remove the bar.. thanks again for the replies

Mine is off. I didn't want to take it off because I thought it would make the X unstable. Not the case at all. I don't miss it one bit.

Disconnected mine (took off the endlinks), but left the sway bar attached to the axle. The anal dealers here seem to get really pissed off when they notice it off, so now I just slap on the bolts when I need to visit them and everybody's happy.

But to answer the real gist of your question, I only notice a slight difference. I feel I can tell the truck sway more in the rear end, but definitely not enough to warrant keeping it connected when onroad.

I ripped mine off about 6 months after I first got it. Didn't really notice it being gone even with the oem shocks.

Mine's been gone since i got the Bilstiens in May! I was hesitant to remove it......but not anymore!

The funny thing is, I think, most people before they remove it they feel a bit uneasy about taking it off. Then when it's off it's like no big deal...
